Forbearance

I asked The Lord to show me what to study next. Here it is. I’ve landed at Forbearance/Patience I look forward to seeing where this will lead.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

• Forbearance -refraining from the enforcement of something (such as a debt, right, or obligation) that is due – longsuffering patience mercy tolerance ; the quality of being patient and being able to forgive someone
• Forbearance is more than just patience; it is an active choice to remain calm and supportive when others challenge us or let us down. To Show mercy, grace, and self-control.

Patience- : bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint; manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain; not hasty or impetuous; steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Ephesians 4:2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
