Waiting for the other shoe to drop is very tiring. It takes a lot of energy always trying to be on guard and trying to stay one step ahead in preparation.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually. (1 Chronicles 16:11)

Worry can take us on a journey that is not only a complete waste of our time but can be bad for our health.
