Our Advocate
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:26-28
***Intercede- to intervene on behalf of another, advocate, act as a mediator
Isn’t it good to know that The Holy Spirit wants what is best for us and is willing to advocate for us? He not only wants what’s best for us, He knows the will of the Father. What have you been praying about? Maybe it’s time to let The Holy Spirit intervene on your behalf. We can rest easy knowing “all things work together for the good” even when we aren’t even sure how to pray.
