Thankful

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.  1 Chronicles 16:34

 As I look out at the snow and sun, while drinking my morning coffee, I can’t help but be full of gratitude. God has been with us in all circumstances of life. He has preserved our lives. It’s been a big year of changes and adjustments.

I’m thankful for life and breath. I’m thankful for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I’m thankful for His sustaining grace and love for me. I now look back over the last 5 years and see so many reasons “why” I didn’t fully understand until recently. I believe God has been preparing me for this new chapter of life.

I truly believe this is a new chapter not just a new year. I look forward to 2026. My mind and heart are open to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit however that may look. His ways are higher than my ways.

 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15
