Able

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (gives me strength) Philippians 4:13

 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16

I’m able, so are you.  We aren’t able because of experience, training, or position. It isn’t conceited to say or feel you have ability. There’s a difference between feeling you have the ability to carry out a task and being arrogant. We are not able on our own. We’re not able because of talent.

Philippians 4:13 says I’m able because I can do all things through Christ. God is my source. God is my confidence. God is my strength. God is who I heavily rely on.   Philippians 4 doesn’t say I can do some things or a few things. It says I can do ALL things.

MY reliance isn’t on me. My reliance is firmly on God. I’m not deserving on my own. I’m deserving through the one who gives me strength.

 The Holy Spirit is saying to me in this season, now is not the time to shrink back as Christians. Now is the time to push forward with confidence and authority. We are called to move forward through Christ.

You can do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength. When God calls, He qualifies. Let’s move forward with confidence knowing who we are in Christ.
