Immovable
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the [b]evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more. Numbers 22:18
Sometimes when God is trying to get through to me, He comes at it from several different directions. I don’t always get it right away. I don’t think I ever get it right away.
Here is what He has finally gotten me to see:
Nothing, (not all the things or scenarios I question in my heart) can keep God’s will or plan from happening in my life as long as I’m willing. His word is true. He doesn’t lie. He didn’t place that thing in my heart for it to return void. His word and plan will be accomplished how He sees fit and it takes my total surrender of how without question. I don’t have to negotiate, take over, or move it forward in my own strength or reasoning. I’m here to please God.
His way. His Way. HIS WAY
Not my way. Not my will. Not my why. He planted the seed and gave me His vision and made it mine.
No “ifs” matter. No “buts” matter. My “How” doesn’t matter. He will accomplish what He said. Period.
Dear Heavenly Father:
Help me to remember this revelation tomorrow, next week, and next year. I don’t ever want to forget what you are showing me. I don’t want to get in your way and create delays or a watered down version of your desire for my life.
God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
Numbers 23:19-20
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 34:1
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Psalm 27:13-14
Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful
Psalm 147:1
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, givento hospitality.
Romans 12:9-13
Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
Psalm 40:6
