I am Blessed

Arrows by day, terror by night

Coming and going I’m blessed

Pressed down running over

Or in lack or in stress

My heart is overwhelmed, I am blessed

If I pass through the river or walk through the fire

God said He’d be with me, I’m blessed

The flames will not burn, nor the water consume

I will continue to say I am blessed

Blessed beyond measure, blessed beyond pain

Blessed under pressure with every breath I proclaim

Victory and favor these 2 remain

Moving forward in confidence

Moving forward I rest

He establishes my plans

during trials and tests

Even more I will shout, even in distress

Ask & Give

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11

Give, and it will be given to you: 1. good measure, 2. pressed down, 3. shaken together, and 4. running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17

God Will Supply

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

I am always humbled by God’s faithfulness in ministering to me just as I need it. Today I was quoting Philippians 4:19 to someone as a reminder of the faithfulness of God in their situation.

No more than 15 minutes later my husband (not knowing my prior conversation) quoted the same scripture to me regarding a need we are believing for. As we took time to pray the scripture over our situation, I was reminded how God has been our provision over the years in amazing ways. God has indeed supplied all our need according to HIS riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Thank you, Lord. Sometimes when the voice of The Holy Spirit prompts me to minister to others, God is ministering to me as well.

What need have you been praying for? God WILL supply. The best part of God’s supply? It’s according to His riches in glory…that’s something we are unable to comprehend!

The Good Fight

Blessed

Wait Quietly

It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Faithful Expectancy

But those who wait on the Lord (Faithful expectancy) shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. NJKV Isaiah 40:31

Waiting is difficult. Sometimes waiting can cause fatigue & frustration. It’s easy to start off strong when it comes to waiting. We have the best intentions, right? Our goal is to keep our eyes on God and let the Holy Spirit, lead, guide, and direct. Somewhere in the middle of the waiting things seem to go sidways. It’s easy to get our eyes off God and our eyes on the circumstance. We begin to question, negotiate, and maybe even complain.

As I look at this scripture, I’m reminded that our waiting can lead to strength renewal instead of exhaustion. Our waiting can actually lead to soaring like the eagle. What we do in our season of waiting matters. We can choose to praise, pray, & read God’s word. This will cause stability so that we won’t be shaken. Frustration and exhaustion don’t have to be part of the waiting.

Dear Heavenly Father- Help us to keep ours eyes firmly fixed on you during the waiting seasons of life. We don’t want to be tossed easily in the wind of frustration and negativity causing us to forget your promises.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. NIV Isaiah 40:31
